Countdown

We're in the final few weeks of our 2nd pregnancy and we're eagerly anticipating the arrival of our second little one! Our first who is 14 months old has no idea what we're in for. You'd be surprised how many people have actually asked me if he is ready to be a big brother. I tell them kindly he has NO idea! It's about like the people at a restaurant who would ask me when we were carrying him in the infant carseat if he needed a kiddy menu and crayons. HA! So I have been fortunate enough to have gotten some serious CD gifts this past week! I'm so excited and I've gotten everything ready for a tiny fluffy butt! I'll post pictures as soon as he gets here!

Knickernappies One Size

So I received this Knickernappies One size diaper in the mail yesterday that I won from a wonderful company www.diaperdaisy.com (go check out their site!) It came with 2 Loopy-Do inserts and I washed it so that Mr. Bub could try it out last night. I am in love with how soft this diaper is -the inside is a buttery soft microfleece that makes me want to wear it. The loopy do's are super nice and I've read they're supposed to be some of the best inserts on the block. Mr. Bub wore this diaper for a little over 14 hours and it held up ok. He did leak out of the legs, but I'm not convinced that I fully prepped it as I should have, so I'm not holding the first use against it! This diaper seems to be cut a little on the larger side compared to others we have, but that means he'll be able to wear it longer. I imagine it would be pretty big on a smaller baby, but overall it is a wonderful diaper and we're thankful to have it in our stash.

Getting started

So I've been wanting to dive into the blogging world for some time now. I've also found some really amazing ladies that have awesome blogs that have sort of inspired me to try this out. I know it's not easy, but I figured now is as good of time as ever and I have to start somewhere. I want to share little snapshots of me and my life and my wonderful little family. I am a cloth diaper addict and am very happy to share and help people understand about it and show them it's not hard at all. I have a few fur babies and a wonderful husband so who know's what we'll be into on any given day. I hope you enjoy this journey with me, let's go.....
